·       The Legendary Design of Palm Jumeirah

·       A remarkable feat of design Palms leading light is testament to Dubai's vision and ambition. This carefully planned palm-shaped island is connected to the mainland by a stub, so the palm tree structure is supported by a short trunk and a crescent shaped breakwater. Designed by Nakheel, the design is based on a trunk with branches, and the protective crescent formation, with something very special to behold at the end of the crescent at the heart of the Palm Island.

Whilst I am walking about the island, I am completely intrigued by the 17 fronds of the leaf where they emerge from the central axis. Each frond has been carefully planned to house private villas, luxury hotels and a great variety of attractions, all which add to the inspiration behind the beautiful destination. This palm-shaped island is not just an example of modern engineering brilliance but complements nature and environment in more than one way.

Palm Jumeirah has… More recently, these Dubai attractions have begotten a lot of attention around the Internet over all social media platforms, being crazing place foresight and astounding views dumps. The complex and unique design speak volumes about Dubai's place in modern architecture. Today, the island, still classed by luxury and elegance, represents the city’s development and transformation.

An Insight into the Engineering of Palm Jumeirah

Palm Jumeirah is a magnificent work of contemporary construction. This challenging project began in the year 2001 and used advanced engineering works to create new man-made coastlines in Dubai. The size of the project necessitated the employment of 120 million cubic meters of sand into place and 7 million tons of rock, 75% of which were quarried from the nearby Hajar Mountains and the rest from the Makram Coast and Persian Gulf.

The ‘Rainbowing' technique Specialized vessels were used to create the unique profile of the iconic island. This procedure facilitated specific application of materials to define the distinct facets of the island. The complexity of the offshore development was overcome using state of the art techniques resulting inherently in an innovative and structural and aesthetic design.

Along with the more conceptual aspects, a complex drainage system was designed to fight against erosion to stop the land from falling away. This elaborate mesh is high evidence of the engineering thought that process went through to build Palm Jumeirah. The marriage of clever design and careful planning has created an amazing site that still impresses today.

Some of the best beaches in Dubai are the beaches of Palm Jumeirah with soft white sand and beautiful views of the ocean. Whether I am in the mood to sunbathe or take a relaxing walk in the sand, these beaches will provide a fantastic beach experience.

One little gem I found is Al Ittihad Park Beach. This is a great public place to visit with some great amenities and wonderful seafront cafes. Relaxing here for the afternoon with a drink to hand is just what you need.

If you prefer to get up close underwater, the Palm Jumeirah has more to offer the marine enthusiast. I'm an exploration shopper in the Palm Jumeirah it must add a bit of flavors also enrich my visit with great dining experiences. The island satisfies not just the luxury seeker, but also exclusively displays local taste, thus making it a complete place to shop and dine.

Getting around Palm Jumeirah

Moving inside Palm Jumeirah Travelling within Palm Jumeirah is also fun due to the transport services available there. The most famous of these is the Palm Monorail that runs for 5.4 km. This monorail links the trunk of Palm Jumeirah to its crescent and provides me with easy access to some of the key resorts and attractions on the way.

In addition to the Palm Monorail taxis and rideshare services are available across the destination, making it easy to get around. For shoppers like yours truly, I enjoyed the many walking paths that amble throughout the island, allowing a stroll or brisk walk to take place any time of day. These are several methods of traveling, and they do serve to add precious dimensions to exploring the treasures of Palm Jumeirah.

Best Time to Visit Palm Jumeirah Dubai

The perfect time to travel to Dubai, and in Palm Jumeirah is between October and April. Temperatures are also pleasant from 20 to 30o Celsius (68 to 86o F) so that you can go camping, relax on beaches and visit the various tourist sites. This time around provides the perfect combination of warm sun and cool wind, making comfortable watching a guarantee.

Check out these tips for a more seasonal visit. For me, it’s a lot more fun to plan things like a day of water sports, beach going or dining outdoors when temperatures are cool. As the days stretch out, you can spend every waking moment enjoying the electric vibe without an oppressive blanket of heat.

In summer, it can get extremely hot in a city like Dubai like over 40°C hot. Honestly, during the hot months, my strategy changes; I either stay in hotels with a lot of attractions pools, ice rinks, temples of doom (seriously, is it called X park! meh) and so on. Or I go indoor. And it's good to plan your trip around these temperature variations, as any good Dubai travel guide will tell you.
